Embraced Fully
Embraced Fully helps men and women coming home from prison build a foundation for a new life and helps communities prepare to welcome them.
Through a growing network of returning citizens, faith communities, reentry organizations, chaplains, and volunteers, Embraced Fully provides practical support and meaningful relationships before and after release. Their work recognizes that successful reentry is about more than simply leaving prison—it requires preparation, connection, accountability, opportunity, and a community willing to walk alongside someone as they rebuild their life.
At the heart of the organization is Ready for Reentry, a program that helps people inside correctional facilities prepare for life after incarceration by developing practical skills, strengthening character, and thinking intentionally about the decisions and responsibilities that come with returning home. Once someone is ready to return, Embraced:Fully works to connect them with faith communities, mentors, volunteers, housing, employment resources, transportation, friendship, and other forms of support.
A key part of this work is the Angel Team model, which brings together trained volunteers and community members to provide consistent, responsible support. Rather than trying to replace professional reentry services, Embraced:Fully helps create a network around each returning person—offering encouragement, relationships, practical connections, and a sense of belonging.
